Parov Stelar - The Cat Groove

SURES - Poseidon

I've said it before and i'll say it again, it seems like all the best bands are coming out of Australia these days...and that's no bad thing, especially when those bands sound like SURES.
The Sydney natives have been gaining serious attention down-under and it looks like 2012 is going to be a big year for them.

Adventure Galley - Marooned

It's the start of a new year, so let's kick it off with some new indie sounds.....Adventure Galley are a young, six man indie band hailing from Portland, Oregon. The band has a fairly unique sound, comparable almost to a cross between MGMT and The National.......an unusual but winning combination.
They'll shortly be releasing a brand new EP to kick off the new year featuring tracks like "Marooned", "Weekend Lovers" and a new recording of "Addict", a track that originally featured on Adventure Galley's 2010 EP 'The Right Place To Be'. The remastered "Addict" has, together with the other featured tracks, an indie charm and flair to it's sound as well as some powerful guitar work.

 We love a bit of 2step/Post-Dubstep/Future Garage or whatever you wanna call it over here at The HotBox. The blend of UKG vibes and deep bass is always a smooth one...not that this scene is limited to the UK.....
Take Estonia's Gee, whose track 'BnG' (Bump n' Grind) was just brought to my attention. This is one of the funkiest 2step grooves i've heard, better yet it's FREE to download via Soundcloud. Head on over and follow Gee to get access to all his tracks and latest releases for FREE.
