Revenu - Meta / You See

Even with posts slowing down a little recently, I still insist on finding the time to help expose those young, unsigned talents that just shouldn't go ignored.
One such talent is Hull's Revenu, who recently got in touch to share his bouncy House roller, 'Meta'. He may only have 17 years to his name, but you wouldn't know it from this kind of high level production. 'Meta' is tight and crisp in all the right places with plenty of deep low end groove to satisfy the dancefloors. It's only his second rodeo and already this this kid has nailed it, and judging by his latest and third release, 'You See', he's got the consistency to be going place fast.
With powerful electro stabs and those oh so necessary classic House organ vibes, Revenu is already producing material broad enough to break out of the niche House scene and into more mainstream appeal.
Impressed? You should be, it's unbelievable that even while so young, he's already mastered those electronic production essentials. Now that he's got the formula down, I'm keen to see what kind of stuff will come out when starts pushing said formula to it's murky limits...in the meantime, be sure to check the tracks below and cop the FREE download's here and here.

Isaac Tichauer - Hypersensitive Lover

Not feeling the friday chill?
Then get into the groove, Isaac Tichauer can help you with that. His latest release 'Hypersensitive Lover' screams that classic Isaac/French Express sound.

Synthetic Epiphany - This Lonely House

Apologies for the lack of updates, i've been in production non-stop for the past couple of months but now it's finally time for a chill and with that in mind I bring you the latest production from Synthetic Epiphany.

The track begins with some real smooth acoustic guitar before taking on a more familiar Synthetic Epiphany chilled electric sound, but still stripped back and chilled out enough to stand out...reminds me a little of the kind of tracks you'd find on a Cafe Del Mar mix

Negativ - If I Were Her

The snow's melting, the sun is forcing its way past the clouds; it's time to get down off the mountain slopes and into the water.....almost.
Summer's getting closer everyday and Negativ sure as hell know it with there latest release. The polish duo are no strangers to seriously well produced House music and 'If I Were Her' continues their trend of solid releases. The track's mellowed-out but warm vibes can't help but put you in that summer evening frame of mind, here's hoping that helps drag the season a little closer.

Armeria - Wanting

19-year old Derbyshire, UK based producer Armeria is back on our radar again with his latest release, 'Wanting'.

Never one to disappoint, Armeria delivers again with this latest track, combining blissful vocals and warm synths to create an lucid electronic dream, as melodic as it is upbeat and euphoric.

Bondax - Gold (Wolf Cub's Muscle Mix)

We're big fans of Bondax's 'Gold' here and of the many remixes which have surfaced since it's release...but none more so than Wolf Cub's.
The original already has the smooth Bondax-groove sound, but Leeds, UK based Wolf Cub has taken it up to 11, with the kind of warm Tropical Electro vibe that might just be eough to finally melt away all this snow and bring us an early summer.

Bonobo - Emkay (Morning High Remix)

Atlanta's Morning High always seems to stay true to his name, producing just the kind of musical highs that make it worth getting out of bed in the morning. Naturally his remix game is just as finely tuned, especially when taking as fine a canvas as Bonobo's 'Emkay'.
As you might expect, centre stage goes to Morning High's lovingly crafted percussive arrangement, whilst the fine string melody of original is stripped back to its most basic and yet most charming. Perhaps most importantly, the tempo's been brought done, giving the track a real 2step groove vibe, fleshed out with sub bass touches and that subtle chopped up vocal sample. The end product is a hard one to define...you might say; it's like Flying Lotus and MJ Cole had a love child? Well maybe...You might wonder; is it Future Garage? Doesn't matter.....
What's important is that it's good..very good, so don't mess around and be sure to grab the FREE download here, while it lasts.

Equator Club & Aztek - Gotta Have It

Equator Club consistently produces the kind of solid Garage/House vibes that go straight to the top of our most played list and his latest collab effort with fellow Chicago native Aztek is no exception to the rule.

DrDr - Addicted (Polkadot Remix)

Brighton natives, DrDr, are comprised of production duo, Chris Campbell and Joe Woods, plus vocalist Donna Curson.
With their influences ranging from the likes of Burial, Sbtrkt, Massive Attack and Miss Dynamite, these fall in somewhere in between Future Garage, Post-Dubstep mark.
Having already been on remix duty for the likes of Major Lazer and The XX, DrDr garage vibes have already established a cult online following.
Most recently, HotBox featured producer Polkadot stepped up to deliver a remix of their single release ‘Addicted’.
With tight 4x4 beats and a tropical vibe throughout, this remix is bound to make plenty more people stand up and take notice of DrDr.

Applebottom - Let You (Warren Xclnce Re-Edit)

Though we're still waiting in agony for his forthcoming EP, London's Warren Xclnce has dropped just enough to give us our fix with his re-edit of Applebottom's 'Let You'.
Warren's familiar style flows throughout as the track takes a new mellow direction, powered on by a shuffling beat and permeated by peaking vocal samples and contrasting dark spacious tones, colouring the whole track a kind of bittersweet, rose-tinted grey. It's the kind of track that fades into the background, but rather than being a drawback it's exactly that quality that shows Warren's talent for production. This re-fix isn't meant to standout, it's just an experiment, a different way of approaching the original....lying in wait perhaps for the perfect wordsmith to make it shine.

Hackman & Klic - Do Right

Let's face it, seeing Hackman's name next to any tune is enough to get us excited, but a FREE tune on top of that....well it doesn't much better than that.
In a collaborative effort with fellow UK housesmith Klic (a.k.a. Medlar), Hackman has dropped 'Do Right', an ode to everything we love about House music; melodic chords, sumptuous bass, 4 to the floor kicks and of course chopped-up vocal hooks. While we're still waiting for a proper full-length album from the guy, this track is more than enough to keep us tided over.
Check out 'Do Right' below and as a bonus we've also posted 'No More' (see below), a previously unreleased track and yet more confirmation that the UK producer's long-rumoured debut LP is on it's way.

Lion Babe - Treat Me Like Fire (Star Slinger Bootleg Mix)

Manchester's Star Slinger has been killing it left and right lately but, it's been a bittersweet age since he last dropped a nice unofficial bootleg.
It was worth the wait however for his refix of Lion Babe's 'Treat Me Like Fire'. The soulful vocals will grab you at first, but it's that infectious 2step beat that get you vibing all over the place.

The White Lamp - Make It Good (Hannes Fischer Remix)

It's been a while since we last heard from Hannes Fischer but the Berlin based producer has still been hard at work composing those deep vibes we know and love him for.
In this it's London/Bristol duo The White Lamp whose 2012 hit 'Make It Good' has gone under the Hannes Fischer knife.

The Fat! Club - EP001

The good folks behind the Chew The Fat! clubnights across the UK have released a top notch, 5 track House EP, featuring the likes of DE$iGNATED, Pále, Wolf Cub, Moe and Origins Sound.

'The Fat! Club' EP 001 is the first in a new series of free mini-compilations showcasing tracks from some of the UK’s most exciting underground producers. Established in 1997, The Fat! Club encompasses a record label, blog, club night and management agency. This long running commitment to UK underground music has seen Chew The Fat! host arenas at festivals across the UK and Europe, monthly parties around the globe, and five consecutive summer residencies at We Love…Space Ibiza. Now more than ever the UK underground scene is overflowing with creative minds and upfront beats, and The Fat! Club is as passionate as ever about new talent. This first instalment features music from Pále, who after releasing on Fat! Records and Four40 in 2012 was named one of XLR8R’s ones to watch for 2013, along with fellow Fat! cohort Wolf Cub. As one third of Transmission Collective Wolf Cub is set for a big year as their label, Transmission Audio Recordings, continues to go from strength to strength. Newcastle based Moe has been bubbling up for a while now, with forthcoming music dropping on MadTech. London based duo DE$iGNATED are already forging out a signature sound, and with some wicked collaborations in the pipeline are set for big things. Rounding off the EP are Origins Sound, a collective of DJs and producers from Bath, who’ve been causing a stir with their parties at The Porters.

For fans of the current Deep House/UK Bass movement, or for that matter of the Chew The Fat! clubnight (highly recommended) this is a solid EP release and being a FREE download, a no brainer selection.

Shift K3Y - What We Had

Annie Mac almost never steers me wrong when it comes to exciting new music, so I always expect big things from her FREE Music Mondays. However, despite already high expectations I was still floored by this track from London newcomer Shift K3y. 'What We Had' is an extremely well produced, sexy as hell, bass ridden number that straddles that fine line between what the kids are calling Post-Dubstep and Future Garage. As the first release from his forthcoming Froze EP, this track is a really promising start for Shift K3y and has got us seriously excited to see what he has in store for the rest of 2013....

Bailey - Other Gurl (Original Mix)

Brighton's Bailey just dropped another fine ass track our way and you lot should know what that means by now.....'Other Gurl' is a straight up House groove that follows that Bailey formula; vibrant bass, deep melodies and some JT vocal samples for good measure.
It's more of the same, but we're loving it.

Mackai & Maxx Baer - Got Swag/Magnet

The Trap game just forced it's way into the mainstream with Baauer's 'Harlem Shake' blowing up everywhere (remember when it was a FREE download? We sure do). It's hard to say how long this ride's gonna last and I still haven't decided if Trap is the greatest thing ever or just falls past the mark in books....nevertheless there's no two guys rocking the scene harder and with more swag right now than Sydney's Mackai & Bristol's Maxx Baer.
The duo's collabs keep coming with their latest two tracks, 'Got Swag' and 'Magnet' full to the brim with all the trapped out, HAM goodness that you could want.

Polkadot - Somateria

Long time readers will know we've been following Wolverhampton producer Sam Bevan's aka Polkadot for a while now on his gradual rise to the top of the electronic music scene .

Well it seems the young producer is finally getting all the attention he deserves, recieving support from Radio 1's Mistajam for his remix of AZ&TOR's 'Resend', and scoring airplay on Diplo's show with his original tune 'Wasn't Like That'.

His latest release 'Somateria' weaves a sultry vocal sample in and out of a tight, vibey house groove.
We've seen before that when it comes to House/Garage releases, this kid isn't short of pissing exellence...and with such consistent releases, it surely can't be long before he's goes all to the top.
