Little Roy - Lithium (Nirvana Cover)

You know how I feel about covers, most of the time they ruin old favourites, but every now and then, they give old songs a whole new lease of life.
Here's a perfect example, Reggae artist takes Nirvana's angsty masterpiece 'Lithium' and gives it those dubby, chilled vibes. Like the sound of that? Well you'll be happy to know, he's done a whole album of Nirvana covers called 'Battle For Seattle'.
This is a must listen.........

Nirvana - All Apologies (Sound Remedy Remix)

I don't think i've ever heard a Nirvana remix before, at least not a decent one. The following by Sound Remedy however, totally exceeds all expectation. He's taken Nirvana's 'All Apologies' and turned it into a glitchy prog house track that really must be heard. Unlike some remixes, this doesnt just give a great old song a new edge, or murder the original, rather it stands on its own as a unique new piece of music and homage to the original masters of grunge.
