Deadmau5 - Rlyehs Lament

The tracks, that Joel aka Deadmau5 has been putting out lately via his Soundcloud have been, for the most part, relatively experimental...at least so it would seem.
Although it's hard to determine the particular direction he's taking with what he calls 'Cthulhustep', we're really enjoying this depart from the 'the norm' and into the complex, and moody soundscapes of 'Rlyehs Lament'.

Deadmau5 - Strobe (Mr FijiWiji Remix)

There's something about Deadmau5 tracks that lends them to melodic and euphoric dubstep remixes. Mr. FijiWiji's take on 'Strobe' is by far the best i've heard since Adam Day's transcendant electro mix.
The remix is all the more impressive when you take Mr. FijiWiji's age into consideration, at just 16 years old this guy is showing some incredibly impressive talent.
The remix is solid, melodic and really adds to Deadmau5's original masterpiece, combined with a few samples of sombre and infamous words from Charlie Chaplin's  'The Great Dictator' speech and you've got a track with real poignancy...this one will make the hairs on your neck stand up.
Download the track below for FREE via his Facebook page and enjoy...

Deadmau5 - Cthulhu2

Apparently Deadmau5 is writing tunes in his sleep now....i guess that explains the dark tones here. It's no return to form, but it's always nice to here some more new stuff from Deadmau5, especially when it's FREE too.

Radiohead – Codex (Deadmau5 Cover)

Some unexpected awesomeness here, Deadmau5 aka Joel Zimmerman just posted some surprising new material on Twitter. A cover of Radiohead's 'Codex' that provides a true homage to the original. If you're a Radiohead fan and a Deadmau5 fan, like me.....then this will be right up your alley.
This excellent tribute demands your attention..

Deadmau5 – Aural Psynapse (Myndset Remix)

The remixes are already flooding in for Deadmau5's latest release 'Aural Psynapse'. So far this is the best i've heard, Myndset doesn't mess to much with the original structure, just tweaks things to give the track a little more dance floor appeal...a bit more oopmh! Check the d/l below

Deadmau5- Aural Psynapse

New Deadmau5!? Okay not quite, turns out this is just a rework of an older track, but that's still good news.....this means a potential return to the Deadmau5 we all know and love, fine melodic minimal/electro house with no out of place wobbles/nero/dubstep crap.
Listen, enjoy.......let's hope we get to hear more like this
