Lockets - Camera Shy

   

I've been posting alot of electronic music lately, but luckily here's something a little more laid back for the mid-week chill.
Lockets are an up and coming Indie/Chillwave/Pop duo from Philadelphia and i'm really digging their sound....its reminiscent of bands like Air France and Lips but with slight surfer rock vibe to it. In their debut single 'Camera Shy', soft and soothing vocals combine wonderfully with melodic guitars, sweet synths and echoed percussion to make a song that will soon be heading to the top of your most played list.
 This is the kind of music that will make your stress slip away, just close your eyes and Lockets work their magic.
Hopefully we'll be hearing plenty more from this band soon, but in the meantime check out 'Camera Shy' below...which is a available for FREE download.

Album: Clientele - Clientele EP

   

Sheffield House outfit Clientele have just released their debut EP for FREE via Dench Recording and boy is it a smasher. The Shenfield Duo have gone all out on this one...this EP is straight tech house/minimal vibes with standout tracks like 'Overdose' and 'Watch Her' future bound to get dancefloors bouncing across the globe. The remixes on the EP are worth an honorable mention, however its the two originals that you'll want to focus.

Album: Coven - Wake You Up EP

   


Merry Boxing Day everybody! He's a little holiday treat from The HotBox!
Nothing says 'tis the season' quite like FREE Dubstep, this time in the form of Coven aka Max Rowat. This 19 year old Londoner's tracks having started cropping up in sets across the country and as a result Coven is receiving serious attention.
To celebrate, Coalition Audio has released the FREE 'Wake You Up' EP. This release really demonstrates why Coven is finally getting the attention he deserves....you won't find any 'brostep' crap on this one, just melodic, progressive Dubstep with deep drops and euphoric peaks. All in all this is one quality production and isnt to be missed.

Album: Doctor Jeep - Aztec EP

   

Throwbacks to old UK R&B and Garage tunes is hardly what you'd expect from a producer based in Boston, but that's what you'll find with Doctor Jeep of  The Banana DJ Collective. His 'Aztec' EP brings back tonnes of old and faded audio memories of UKG riddims and dancefloor vibes. Not to say that this has all been done before, by no means. Rather Doctor Jeep turns these old genres on their heads, giving them a seriously dark, yet ravey edge to them. It's experimental, but accessibly familiar at the same time..Check the FREE download below and see for yourself. Redlight - Get Out My Head

   



Redlight aka DJ Clipz has been rocking the UK House/Bass scene ever since the 'Lobsterboy E.P.' Now his latest release 'Get Out My Head' is blowing up on the net since Annie Mac dropped the track on Radio 1 and the Joker remix not long afterward. This track has Redlight's signature all over it, from the funky bass vibes, right down to the vocals from Ms Dynamite.
Officially the track isn't out til January 23rd but we've got a 320kb early preview for you all to enjoy. Check it below...

Simage - Forsaken

   

What happens when a young DnB producer from Belgium turns his hand to house...well in the case of Simage, absolute magic. With 'Forsaken', Simage aka Simon De Roo has made a fanatastic piece of minimal house with wonderful piano riffs, great deep progressions and an overall chilled out vibe....I just cant get it out of my head.
